SERIOUSLY SNOW? WHAT THE??? We got ready to come home on Sunday morning, & Grandma Nancy called to tell us there was horrible winds, and it was beginning to snow! We changed our plans & chose to stay in the sun for another day!! Even though I'm burned, it's better than being cold!

P.S. Don't lay in the sun if you are on antibiotics! Feet are burned, hands are burned, lips got burned, I should have known better!! Plus I forgot the Noni leaf spray, but this helps...

2009 SHHS Lip Sync (Justine & Guys) Video

Everytime We Touch

Justine,Gavin,Josh,Jake,Tanner,& Phillip worked hard. This is their version of "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada. They performed this at the high school lip sync, for a baseball fund raiser. It wasn't a competition, but they really were the best, the costumes and all. They were asked to do it again at the sports assembly. Maybe they will go on tour....

I Think It's Spring!

My favorite time of year! Only not so sure this year, graduation,(sniff, sniff.)Oh well, lets talk about fun stuff. We've been going to the high school baseball games, they seem to have one about every day. Justine's boyfriend has been catching, 1st base, and he pitched the other day, but we missed it. I asked Justine who the coach was by 3rd base, are you ready for this?, she said she didn't know where 3rd was, and started counting the bases!! Gavin's dad explained to her what catchers do...like that needs explanation! (Oh well, we shouldn't make fun, she has played tennis for years, I still don't know how to keep score!) I love watching the games, and get a little sucked in.
Before there were games though, there was the big lip sync! Justine, Gavin,Tanner, Phillip, Jake, and Josh were awesome! They turned my house into a club,we learned all sorts of new songs, and Kimber learned how to dance with boys. I'll have to get the video of that uploaded for sure! By the way, Gavin named Kimber Todd about six months ago, no one really knows why, but the guys call her Todd. Only the cool guys that is. Ok, going to see if I can find the video of Phillip dancing with Todd!

Kizzy

Kizzy is our twelve year old lab. Last week we thought she was dying. Mark had to go to Las Vegas for business, and I got to worry about what to do with Kizzy. This is morbid, but a fact of life and death, we already had it lined up who would do the deed if it got that bad. We kept Kizzy in the back room, she would only walk to go outside, short bathroom breaks. She collapsed one day, and even drooled. I was sure she was having strokes. I googled strokes in dogs. This brought me to very common virus that older dogs can get, vestibular neuritis. Vertigo, inner ear infection, etc. Kizzy had every symptom, I was even hand feeding her, good stuff like ham. So after about four days of "I'm sure I'm going to find Kizzy stiff this morning" she was healed. Back to herself. Running out to feed the horses with me. Glad we didn't jump the gun too soon! No pun intended! So Saturday I'm driving with Justine and Kimber, and everything started spinning, I thought I was going to hurl. I had inner ear stuff when I was pregnant with Justine, and currently am on an antibiotic for ear infection. Sunday I slept all day, all night, all day Monday, and still wiped out. Still dizzy, but not drooling yet~

Golf ?

Justine signed up to be on the high school golf team today! We have been laughing ever since. She has NEVER been. She doesn't have clubs, shoes, and get this, she doesn't really know where the golf course is. The courage, and enthusiasm she has is amazing. So at this moment, she recruited old friends to go to the driving range with her. Try outs are coming up! Anyone know where we can find childrens golf shoes, size 3? Or clubs that her hands can fit around? Track is so much easier! The adventures never end at this house!
