Friday on the farm...

I should have been shopping! It was so cold! Actually we were supposed to all go to Dog Valley to hunt rabbits. The road out there was icy, so Mark postponed it to Saturday. The guys (Justine & Kimber's friends) came over anyway. We had a great day though, we ate green chile, Mark's homeade salsa, and lots of cocoa... Then Mark pulled them around with his 4-wheeler. Later we ate again, played games, and sat by the fire. Did I mention it's cold here?

Living in a Snow Globe!!

Snow Angels....











Another snow storm....beginning to feel as if we are living in a snow globe! At about 10:30 PM Justine & Kimber decided to go play in the blizzard, it was so hard to even get good picture- So much snow down. They stayed out there for an hour, then had the routine hot chocolate. This is Kimber's favorite time of year, she can't get enough of the snow!

Santa Came!

Tonight we had Mark's parents for dinner, also Kevin, who sort of lives here. haha. We had steak, shrimp, garlic bread, and lemon poppy seed cake. So yummy. Then we watched the movie The Nativity, and Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Grandma and Grandpa went home, the girls were in their beds trying to sleep, & I was still wrapping. When I got it all done, sat the presents under the tree, I decided that hey, it's only 1 am. They'll be up at 3 and I won't get to see the excitement.....so I did what everyone would do, I woke up Mark, told him we are ready, the girls are going to open a couple of presents. What a blast we can start a new tradition!!!

PS If you try calling in the morning, all the phone are off the hook, we will be sleeping! Merry Christmas!

Sunday afternoon, in the freezing cold, we went and took Christensen family photos at Mark's Grandpa's home. Just FYI, we are in front of the cellar, with Mark's Mom & Dad....with all of the cold and snow we should be in the Christmas spirit. However, Justine is barely putting up her tree in her room! I'm almost ready to put everything away! Ok, I'm going back to addressing Christmas cards, and making one more list......

'Tis The Season!

WOW! December is here! It's been a great season already- we kicked it off by going to Disneyland for Thanksgiving break, (we decorated before we left, great way to come home!), Kimber turned 15 on Decemeber 4th, (lots of partying), and last Saturday was Justine's high school's Snowball Dance ( so fun, she went with Gavin, and doubled with Ashley her 1st cousin)! Other than that, we've been to one Christmas party, and have a few more to go to....plus all the parties that go on here! Does anyone know which store has Coke on sale????
