Kimber PAAAARRRTTTAAAAYS!
This last year Kimber has been a part of Production Company. It's a group 9th grade drama students, with an amazing teacher. She was able to take some trips with them, spent everyday with them, and perform in several plays. She will miss this as she is officially now a 10th grader, and will be going to High School. Last week there was a banquet, awards, great food. When her teacher gave her a trophy it was for most improved, he talked about how in 7th grade up until now she has been so shy. SHY...did he say SHY? Every parent teacher I went to as a child was torture and always the same thing "Kristin won't keep her hands to herself, Kristin won't be quiet, Kristin needs to learn to shut up and focus, Kristin disrupts the class, Kristin is spending her recess in the corner again, I had to send Kristin to the office..yada, yada, yada. So when I have these parent teacher conferences when I go I am naturally tensed up. And it's always the same thing about both girls, "Kimber is so quiet I would like to have her participate more." "Kimber always has a bright smile." "Justine is so helpful and willing to do anything I ask." Hmmm, if I didn't have battle scars to prove they were mine, I'd have to wonder!

Seminary Graduation
Last night was Justine's seminary graduation, 4yrs baby! Yesterday, before church we asked her if she had her Bishop's interview...uhmm no. She also went to the state baseball playoffs and missed seminary the other day, so I started to wonder about her attendance. Kind of a panic, in a funny way. Mark called the Bishop's office, set up her appt. When we arrived at the Stake Center last night, I grabbed 5 programs, checked them all to see if her name was on them. It was. At the bottom, not last, but listed by wards. Our ward was last. Her last name is with a C. Only one before her. Three after. When they didn't announce her name, when they should have, a little bit of a panic, a funny panic. Because Justine is so good, this was kind of funny to me. The very LAST person they announced....Justine Christensen. Oh, and they said "Justine" not "Justin" like usual. We finished off the night with Grandma Nancy's crepes. So yummy.

Prom 2009 "This is Home"
Justine went to Prom, the first part of April. I'm finally posting pictures!(Give me a break, it was the same time Kimber was in Annie, I was kind of busy.) She went with Gavin, Josh, & Alexis. It was held at the Old Provo Library, gorgeous building. Maybe I haven't posted about it, is because by the time it finally got here I was exhausted. Justine is V.Pres over the senior class, which means her group was in charge, which really means moms in charge. We had to go find the Tiarras, DJ, Refreshments, etc... However, even with all of the stress, she was so glad to go with Gavin, and they had a fantabulous night! :)
